We are making progress! The new 2-story facility becomes more complete each day, and our desire is to hold our first services in the new building by early October. We have experienced many blessings over the past
three months. God has enabled us to build many new relationships with some of our hired workers in an effort to reach them with the Gospel. Building relationships is the key for successful ministry, and especially among indigenous people. For example, we attended a special dinner in the home of one of the workers in late July. Typically, an indigenous family will not invite you into their home unless they are really comfortable and confident with the relationship that exists. The father of the family is in his late forties, and has expressed a desire to "become a Christian someday." Please pray for the Sul family, and that God would allow us to effectively share the light of the Gospel with these precious people.

The Quetzal Church
Just outside the capital city lies the densely populated town of Quetzal. It is a thriving area which is very attractive to people living in the capital; consequently, many new residents every month are buying property
and moving their families to this growing town. Team Guatemala was able to purchase several lots in the heart of the city, and in the middle of several new housing developments which are underway. Quetzal currently has approximately 140,000 inhabitants, and the Lord has given us a wonderful opportunity to plant a Bible-based church in this community.
